Iron Concentrate

Iron concentrate is black in color and is used in iron smelting industries to produce various types of iron pellets, sponge iron or other steel products.

Iron concentrate plays an important role in terms of saving time and money in industrial production due to the absence of harmful and additional substances that harm the environment.

It should be noted that iron concentrate as a non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive product can be transported in bulk by rail or by sea.

Benefits of Iron Concentrate

Processing iron ore and producing iron ore concentrate for use in industries has various advantages.

From the beginning of the industrial revolution in Europe, one of the most important industries was steel production

Iron concentrate is effective in reducing the cost of treatment.

Reduction in smelting and energy costs, which is very effective during the steel production process.

With the increase in steel production and iron ore consumption, concentrate production also increased.

Iron concentrate is effective in reducing pollution.

How to produce Iron Ore Concentrate

Iron concentrate is black in color and used in iron smelting industries to produce all kinds of iron pellets, sponge iron or other steel products from the time when the iron ore is removed from the mill, using cyclones or vibrating plates that disperse the particles. They separate the fine and coarse, it is classified. Large particles are again diverted into the crusher and fine particles are subjected to spiral gravity separation process. Water is used to aid in the separation process. The heaviest particles are separated from the smaller particles by centrifugal force. A collector at the bottom of each spiral collects the heavy concentrate (hematite concentrate) and removes unwanted lighter particles (middling product) and tail. This step depends on the release rate and iron concentration. The target is repeated two or three times. The concentrate collected from the medium-grade product and tailings after gravity spiral separation has a lower iron concentration (magnetite), so it must be further concentrated to reach a concentration of 65% of the customer's iron. A magnetic separator circuit is driven. Iron ore concentrate is produced from iron ore in the mining process and is used to produce pellets for blast furnaces and direct reduction furnaces.
